Vanessa Marzaroli

Vanessa Marzaroli is an Emmy-winning commercial and music video director and DGA member known for cinematic polish, conceptual clarity, and a visual style that blends elegance with playfulness. With a background in photography, fashion, and design, her work spans live-action brand films, social campaigns, immersive experiences, and animated commercial work for brands including Netflix, Amazon, Audi, HP, Visa, Target, and Dole — including her AICP Design Award-winning Audi A7 "Imagination" spot.

Vanessa got her start as animation director on Gnarls Barkley's Crazy, which won a VMA for Best Direction and became a defining video of its era. Her music video work continues to earn acclaim: Double Sided Girl was featured in the Hammer Museum's Flux series and won a London Director's Award, while What's Your Fantasy for Polartropica took Best Director at the London Director Awards, Luminous Frame Festival, and LA Film Fest, with a Berlin Music Video Awards nomination.

Originally from Thailand, Vanessa moved to LA as a teenager and studied classical piano alongside her twin sister before graduating from Art Center College of Design. A longtime Mirada collaborator, she has served as Creative Director at Logan, Blind, and Motion Theory, with work recognized by the Art Directors Club, D&AD, the Type Directors Club, AICP, BDA, Prix Arts, and Cannes.
